Do you want to increase your knowledge of Rotary
Rotary Learning Institute( RLI ) seeks to have Rotary Clubs identify those Rotarians who look to future club management (not necessarily as club presidents) and provide them with a quality learning experience in Rotary knowledge and leadership skills so important to voluntary organisations.
RLI is a series of fast-paced, interactive, one-day courses offered to refine a Rotarian’s leadership skills and increase their base of knowledge in Rotary.
Courses are topical, interactive, and geared to Rotarians who want to be more knowledgeable and effective leaders in their clubs.
Topics covered during will include:
- Leadership, The Rotary Foundation, Team Building, Running Service Projects, Membership, Running Meetings, and much, much more.
Rotary Clubs are encouraged to have members attend with the knowledge that participants return to their club with:
- Confidence, enthusiasm, new contacts, and fresh ideas
How are we going to do it?
PDG Ann White from Melbourne will assist us with progressing Rotary Learning Institute RLI in District 9830 and work with us on training facilitators for our workshops.
(Anne has excellent training credentials, having trained the facilitators at the Rotary International Assembly in San Diego this year.)
When.
Weekend of the 22nd October will be a facilitators training at the community centre Perth.
Prior to the training day RLI material will be distributed to people attending for pre course reading. The group size would be around 12-15 people. (Ann has recommended this as an ideal size. For the first courses to be conducted by our trained facilitators, Anne would return to assist and give support at these workshops.
