Fiji Flood Disaster January 2012

Rotary in Fiji via Rotary New Zealand World Community Service and District 9920 are providing immediate response to those severely affected by thfiji floode recent and ongoing flooding.

There is a coordinated response being managed by Rotarian Bob Niranjan with distribution of prepositioned Emergency Response Kits and food parcels being assembled and delivered to families and communities.

Rotarians in New Zealand have asked how they can assist personally. We invite all Rotarians and others, to consider making a donation to purchase a NZ $40 food parcel which will provide basic non-perishables for a family of four for a week. These are being supplied to Rotary on credit in good faith by grocery merchants in Fiji.
