Application

A candidate for RYPEN is a young person who has shown qualities of decency, courage, persistence, sincerity, application and dependability.

A candidate for RYPEN is not necessarily the highest achiever, but must be committed to developing these qualities.

What we look for:

  • · Not necessarily the highest achievers, but;
  • · Have leadership potential, and;
  • · Will benefit from a learning experience where they can gain confidence in a supportive environment.
  • · Above all, are committed to "giving it a go" over the three days of the camp.

The next camp will be 17th – 18th April, 2010 at the Orana Girl Guides Camp “Malunna” , Roches Beach.

The cost to attend RYPEN 2010 is $80 per candidate.   This cost is fully covered by the sponsoring Rotary Club.

After your online application you will be prompted to complete part B of the application by printing off a form and submitting it. A copy of that form is also available here.

The RYPEN committee will assist in coordinating your sponsorship with a local Rotary Club if you haven't established a contact.
