7 February 2012 Rotary Club of Hobart Sail Day

The Rotary Sail Day has become a favourite annual event for the Tasmanian boating and business community. Celebrating it’s 21st anniversary, Rotary Sail Day has raised more than $650,000 and is now one of Tasmania’s largest

The Sail Day committee of the Rotary Club of Hobart has again secured the Windeward Bound as a part of the fleet. This means that we are in a position to invite our fellow Rotarians to join us for a great day out on the water. It is a day which is always enjoyed and for those passengers on board Windeward Bound, we have planned some fun activities for even greater enjoyment.

Rotary Sail Day is hosted by the Rotary Club of Hobart with generous support from the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania, whose members, together with members of the Derwent Sailing Squadron, Bellerive Yacht Club and the Motor Yacht Club of Tasmania, generously donate their yachts and crew for the day to make it all possible. Windward Bound is a welcome addition to our fleet of supporters

The event showcases around seventy of Hobart’s best yachts and motor cruisers.
