2010 District Conference Bike Ride for
Australian Rotary Health

"Cycles of Life" Ride 2010

The 2009-10 District Conference kicks off with a bike ride in Hobart in support of Australian Rotary Health, which is one of the largest independent mental health research funds in Australia.

We have admired and supported cycling enthusiasts committed to this Rotary cause at conference time over a number of years and the impending March District Conference is no exception.

Commences 1230 pm on Friday 26th March 2010.

Start: Cornelian Bay Follow the course details supplied . There will be Marscyclehals to direct you. The course is 35 kilometres. There are two moderate climbs but much of it is on bicycle tracks.

Requirements: Your own bike, water and probably a couple of high energy food bars.

Purpose: To Fund research into Mental Illness in Australia.

These funds will assist a major Grant in Tasmania to study Mental Illness affecting young Tasmanians.

The Yellow Jersey

All funds raised will add to your account and you will be presented with a “Yellow Jersey” when you reach $2000.

If you already have a Jersey aim for a second one, or a third one! After year five we will create a Hall of Fame with a commemorative Jersey that will be made specifically for members of the Hall of Fame
