Masters Challenge..
“Dear Rotarians
Having stood on street corners in a “hi-viz vest”, directing sweaty grimacing fools in triathlon and “Fun Runs”, I reckoned there must be a more civilised way for ladies and gentlemen to enjoy 3 sports in the one day - hence the birth of the “Masters’ Challenge”.
The idea is not only for a fun day for Rotarians, but also to create wholesome Club rivalry in friendly competition.
The $55 per head entry fee is to cover breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and all green fees and licences.
We hope to make this an annual get-together for all Tasmanian Clubs, and your support is essential to make it happen.
As both the Golf and Bowls Clubs have made facilities available for the day, your family and friends will be able to use the clubs’ amenities or just fish and picnic by Lake Dulverton.
So, please give this some serious thought and get your “Team of Four” together. We’ll see you on Sunday 7th March 2010.
