Rotary Foundation’s Cultural Ambassador Scholar 2008

Hingor Chung is available to speak to interested Rotary Clubs on the environment, education and social integration as part of her role as Rotary’s Cultural Ambassador.  

After her experience to Taiching, Taiwan in 2008, Hingor has gone on to teach Drama, Japanese and Chinese at Taroona High School. As part of her extracurricular activities she has taken students to China and Japan.

Hingor was born in Hobart to Chinese parents and grew up at Glenorchy where she attended Cosgrove High, then Elizabeth College and finally ANU, Canberra.

Hingor is a committee member of the Chinese Community Association of Tasmania (CCAT).
